Mission statement
New Wakefield Church is on a mission for the Lord. Our mission is defined in Luke 4:18-19 KJV “18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Vision
New Wakefield Church is a church with a Vision from God. The Bible tells us in Habakkuk 2:2-3 GNT “2 The Lord gave me this answer: “Write down clearly on tablets what I reveal to you, so that it can be read at a glance. 3 Put it in writing, because it is not yet time for it to come true. But the time is coming quickly, and what I show you will come true. It may seem slow in coming, but wait for it; it will certainly take place, and it will not be delayed.” New Wakefield Church is Seeking to Save, Teaching to Disciple, Equipping to Serve. At New Wakefield Church, we believe that “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!”
